Hey Reader!

This is day 3 of not working with my horses again because of wildfire smoke πŸ™„

I keep hoping tomorrow will be better. 🀞😐

My YouTube channel currently depends on my interactions with my horses for videos so, that too is a little frustrating! 😣

I decided I might as well run a poll in the An Equine Journey YouTube Community (have you checked the Community out? πŸ€”)

So 2 days ago I posted:

Tell me more about you! 🀠 Which of the following applies the most? πŸ€”

1) Are you a horse owner?
2) Did you used to own a horse? ...and want to again?
3) Do you wish you owned a horse?
4) Are you a horse lover that wants to get started with horses?

I wasn't sure I would have anyone vote on the poll but I actually had 4 people vote and had a very long and lovely comment from a viewer as well! 🧑

3 out of the 4 people chose #2 ...they used to own a horse and want to own one again.

1 person chose #1 and said they are a horse owner.

It's a tough situation being between horses!

There are a lot of reasons for that.

Sometimes you have to sell a horse because of financial changes.

Sometimes you have to say goodbye to a horse due to medical challenges πŸ˜”

Although I'm blessed with 3 ponies (...and my husband's old gelding), I didn't have an equine I could ride for quite a few years!

I had to say good-bye to one due to medical problems. He was my big, safe riding gelding that I did everything with πŸ˜₯

Then, one pony was pregnant, I was too heavy for the other pony and, after the pregnant one gave birth, I had 3 equines that were mine, none of which I could ride (the pregnant one had a lameness after she gave birth so she needed some time off ...but she's just fine now!)

I had to deal with a lot of questions from people who didn't understand why I'd have so many horses but none to ride! πŸ˜…

I wasn't overly impressed with the situation but patience when between horses is the only way to get through life! I was just very happy I had horses I could do things with at all!

So, for anyone who is between horses, I understand and I empathise!

But I'm curious Reader, which poll number would you choose? πŸ‘€
